Here are some pictures of the car , cant say enough about how great the car is, Rick helped me over the phone with shock settings and chassis set up and it worked right out of the trailer. Had a bunch of 1.06 sixty foot times with the best of 7.39, 186.9 in very hot weather. 2400 lbs with two speed trans with 1.80 first gear. Engine is a Best Machine Built Mopar 588 with two fours. Still Has some left, won a little money this past summer and had a blast racing Top Sportsman.

Mid season we decided to change classes and purchased a Rick Jones Pro Stock Truck. We won the first two races we entered and 3 out of the first 5 races. In a class where performance and consistency are the main ingredients, our truck passed the test. With the help of Rick and his complete staff we were able to capture the 2009 and 2010 Division Championship and finish 3rd and 8th overall in National points. Racing Competition Eliminator for over 19 years I have been exposed to many types of cars and many car builders. I would recommend Rick Jones as the starting point.

I called Rick Jones to discuss my 1969 Camaro. I’ ve been having handling problems and wondered if he would consider helping a small time guy like myself. He welcomed my car into the RJ shop and they worked on a complete chassis alignment. The car was amazing. It ran faster and drove straighter than ever. "I received my 2nd RJ car in January of this year. After an unfortunate accident at my 1st race I sent my car back to RJ. They quickly got my car repaired, and I was back racing in no time. RJ and crew did an outstanding job fixing my car and I had no concerns about taking it to the stripe on my first run back. I ran 6.82 @ 203 on my first run and I expected just like before the car went perfectly straight and was smooth as glass. My 2nd race back I found the winner's circle at the NHRA Divsion race in Sonoma, California. I ran my career best 6.67 @ 210.50 during qualifying, and on a warm race day we ran 6.82 three times in a row. The car is very consistent and a pleasure to drive. Absolutely the finest race car I have driven.

"I picked up my new RJ car and left their shop and went straight to a points race in Bristol, TN. If anyone builds a better race car I am unaware of it. Following the 300' check-out pass, the car went down the track under full power 10 times on its way to a runner-up finish in Super Gas at my first race with it. Every one of my time slips read 166 mph. This car is amazing! It repeats on the starting line and drives straight and smooth on the top end. This car is like driving a Cadillac!"

"I had RJ Race Cars build me a new Pro Stock Cobalt to race in Top Sportsman. I've never seen such fine craftsmenship and detailed work like this before. My car left RJs shop complete and running all I had to do was hit the starter button! The first run with no adjustments the car ran straight down the track to a 7.03 at 197 in Top Sportsman trim. Since then we've added more engine, and the car is very consistant and runs in the 6.80s all the time."
