They are thru-hardened which allows for a drag racing shaft with excptionally high tensile strenght (240,000psi) while retaining ductility.
Pro race (Hy-Tuf) 40-spline gun drilled (.875"I.D.) axles, any length (maximum axle length 30"), choice of bolt circle, and with five 1.0" I.D. lightening holes machined into each axle flange. Tapped for 1/2" or 5/8" screw-in stud kit.(pair)
